ProDescs ® is able to take your repair plans and specifications and provide a detailed line item estimate. We are able to provide take-offs for both residential and commercial projects. When provided with as-builts and photos of the damage, we can also provide an estimate from repair recommendations when plans and specifications are not completed or required. Whether it is minor structural damage from a vehicle impact or extensive damage from severe wind events, ProDescs ® can produce professionally written complete and accurate estimates. Our estimates are written with the insurance industry's leading estimating software, Xactimate*, which boasts of hundreds of regional price datebases reflecting current material and labor pricing for every area of the country. ProDescs ® does not offer site inspection services. However, we do offer digital photo file analysis for sites that have been inspected. Plan Take-Off Estimates
When insurance representatives make a request for a line item estimate from an architect or engineer, ProDescs ® can provide an estimate that is written in the format that insurance companies prefer. Not all architectural and engineering firms have staff that are proficient enough to provide an Xactimate® estimate for an insurance company. Because we have worked with architects and engineers on real world projects and situations which includes site inspections to discuss repair feasibility, ProDescs ® has the ability to understand the technical language used, both verbally and graphically, and in turn translate professional recommendations and repair specifications into a line item estimate with detailed notation that can be understood by others who do not have a construction background. As stated earlier, ProDescs ® utilizes Xactimate estimating software which is a widely accepted estimating program in the insurance industry. We are extremely proficient with Xactimate and produce estimates at a professional level. Because the staff at ProDescs ® are professional damage assessors and estimators, ProDescs ® can provide estimates that comply with the estimating guidelines of a particular carrier because we have written estimates for a variety of insurance companies including several of the major carriers.

Residential and Commercial
ProDescs ® can prepare estimates for both residential and commercial properties. Included are single family, multi-family and commerical buildings. ProDescs ® has inspected and written estimates for a variety of building systems, to include: wood frame, masonry both non reinforced and reinforced, tilt up, steel building sytems and structural concrete. Each of these systems has a variety of exterior finishes to include: siding, stucco, glazing, brick and other finishes. We are also experienced in writing estimates when the existing structure is older and requires a unique and creative repair scope of work while at the same time complying with current code requirements and preserving historical character.
